Mrs. Bradshaw- Counselor I am a native of Rowan County and graduated from East Rowan in 2005. I attended University North Carolina of Wilmington and graduated with a BSW in 2010. I recently obtained my Masters in Counseling from East Carolina University on May 2015. Go Pirates. I have been a counselor here at North Rowan for over 4 years. I assist students with the last name A-H, 504's, and NCVPS.
Ms. Archie- College Adviser I am from Shelby, North Carolina and I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. I work with the Carolina College Advising Corps as a College Adviser. I am here to serve as a resource to help students prepare for the college admissions process, SAT and ACT registrations and prep, paying for college (financial aid and scholarships) and more!
Mr. Goodine- Intervention Specialist I am from Seneca, South Carolina and graduated from Catawba College in 1991 with a BA degree in Psychology and currently hold a School Social Worker License. I work with students who violate the schools substance abuse policy, pregnancy, behavior issues, attendance, and serve as liaison to community agencies. I also assist with scheduling classes and registering student athletes with the NCAA Eligibility center
Mrs. Keaton- Counselor I am from Wadesboro, NC. I graduated from Pfieffer College in 1989 with a BA in Sociology. After graduating from Pfieffer I moved to Washington, D.C. and worked several years with the Department of Health and Human Services before pursuing a Masters Degree from Howard University in Social Work, in 1999. After returning to North Carolina and working in the school system my love for working with children lead me to pursuing a Masters Degree in Education- School Counseling from Liberty University in 2008. I worked at North Rowan Middle for 5 years as a school counselor before coming here to North High in 2016. I assist students with the last name I-Q, Crosby Scholars and McKinney-Vento.
Mrs. Rodenhuis- Guidance Secretary I was raised in Indiana, spent 10 years in Southern California where I received a degree in English from UC-Irvine then relocated to North Carolina. I have been the NRHS Guidance Assistant since 2006. I assist with enrolling/withdrawing students, record keeping, dispense medications, and assist students, parents and staff as needed.
